These Terms and Conditions govern all purchases, custom orders, and interactions with our products and services. By placing an order or engaging with our site, you agree to the following terms:

1. Product Integrity & Craftsmanship

Each Cherry & Chisel piece is handcrafted using natural materials. Variations in grain, color, and texture are inherent. Wood movement, knots, and minor imperfections are expected. Finishes may vary slightly due to lighting, wood type, and application.

2. Orders & Lead Times

All orders are made-to-order unless otherwise stated. Standard lead time: 6–10 weeks from order confirmation. Rush orders may be accommodated for an additional fee. Lead times are estimates and may shift due to material availability or production delays.

3. Payment Terms

A 50% deposit is required to initiate production. Final balance is due prior to delivery or pickup. Payments are accepted via credit card, debit card, PayPal, or approved financing partners.

4. Custom Work

All custom orders require written approval of design specs. Changes after production begins may incur additional fees. Cherry & Chisel retains the right to photograph and share custom work unless otherwise agreed.

5. Shipping & Delivery

Delivery fees are calculated based on location and item size. Cherry & Chisel is not liable for delays caused by third-party carriers.

6. Returns & Cancellations

We have a 14-day refund policy. You can request a refund within 14 days of receiving your item. To be eligible, the item must be in its original condition, and you need proof of purchase. To start the refund process, contact us at cherryandchiselww@gmail.com.

If approved, we will provide instructions for returning your package. Items returned without a refund request may not be accepted. Your refund will go back to your original payment method.

7. Warranty

Cherry & Chisel does not provide a warranty for the natural movement or characteristics of wood, as these are inherent to the material. However, we offer a limited 5-year manufacturer’s warranty covering any component or piece found to have defects in materials or craftsmanship, as determined by Cherry & Chisel.

Warranty excludes damage from misuse, exposure to moisture, or unauthorized repairs.

8. Intellectual Property

All designs, images, and content on cherryandchisel.com are the property of Cherry & Chisel. Reproduction or use without written consent is prohibited. Custom designs may be reused or adapted unless exclusivity is purchased.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Montgomery County, MD.
